PRACTICAL SKILLS TRAINING

PART 1, Module 2:  Practical Skills Week
Monday 14th - Friday 18th October 2024
In Part 1, students will attend a 5 day Practical Skills Week at the Moller Institute, Churchill College,University of Cambridge, covering:

- Patient assessment
- CBCT analysis
- Digital implant planning
- Implant placement
- Raising flaps
- Impression taking
- Gowning & gloving
- Suturing
- Occlusal analysis

PART 2:  Advanced Practical Skills Week
Monday 24th - Friday 28th November 2025
In the second year, students will attend a 5 day Advanced Practical Skills Week at the Moller Institute, Churchill College,University of Cambridge, covering:

- Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR)
- Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) in dentistry
- Sinus augmentation surgery
- Piezosurgery
- CBCT intepretation & reporting (Level 2)
