FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ARE PATIENTS PROVIDED?
The UK Training Standards in Implant Dentistry advises that dentists should undertake supervised clinical treatment of at least 6 clinical cases from start to finish (not just implant placement) before commencing independent practice. As, for some learners, this may take several years it is best to carry out this part of your training on your own patients. For this reason we do not provide patients during the MSc pathway. You can apply to have this part of your post-qualification training accredited by CADI.
